How to place an ad unit on the website

To create a new ad unit, go to the Sites page on your Geozo dashboard and click on the list of ad units:

On the Ad units page click on the “+” button:

Next you see an ad builder where you can customize your ad units.

It is required to put a ad unit title and select levels of content.

Depending on the format you can select from an extensive range of other settings:

  • number of ad creatives in an ad unit

  • image size and aspect ratio

  • size and color of text

  • responsiveness of ad unit

  • background color of ad creative and ad unit

  • frames of an image, creative, or unit etc.

After applying all the settings click create:

Insert the ad unit code into your website. To get the code click on the “</>” button next to the ad unit:

Copy the code and paste it into your website:

Please note that the code consists of two parts. The first part of the code with the ad domain should be placed anywhere on the page. We recommend you add it to the <head> tag. The second part (ad unit parameters) is inserted where the ad unit should be displayed.

If you want to add several ad units to your website, you do not need to place the first part of the code twice. While the second part of the code is unique for each ad unit and should be inserted where the ads should be displayed.

Once the codes are placed, it takes ad units about 15 minutes to be displayed. You can follow the performance data per unit on the statistics section.
