If you see the ad's status "Rejected", it means that it has not been moderated by the Geozo moderation team.

The most common reasons for rejection are shown below.

Make sure that your ads are free of errors/inaccuracies/inappropriate content and fully comply with our policies before resubmitting them for moderation:

If you have not found answers to your questions about rejected advertisements and you do not understand the reasons, please write to the support team. They will give you detailed information about the reasons for rejection.

What to do:

1. Read our policies carefully;

2. Correct anything that fails to pass moderation. Your area of focus is the ad and landing page;

3. Make sure there is no reason for rejection now;

4. Re-send it to us for moderation.


Please note that

Geozo reserves the right to reject any advertising material without giving reasons.


Reasons for rejection

Prohibited categories of goods and services

This means that you are advertising and/or engaging in the distribution of illegal goods and services.

Content, goods and services 18+

This means that your ad contains pornographic and sexually explicit content and 18+ products and services.

Violation of rights of minors

This means that your ad contains text and images that violate the rights of minors

Unacceptable advertising campaign language

This means that your ad contains obscene gestures, swearing, vulgar and indecent language, including in a foreign language and misspelled.

Shocking, disgusting ad elements

This means that your ad contains shocking, disgusting, traumatic elements.

Dangerous or offensive content

This means that your ad contains elements that promote hatred, intolerance, discrimination, exploitation and violence.

Malicious or unwanted software

This indicates that we have detected your use of malicious or unwanted software.

We are concerned about the safety of our users and therefore we strongly discourage such practices.

Fraudulent activity

This means that we have detected your use of deliberate deceptive practices which are expressly forbidden by Geozo.

Unapproved split test

This means that you have not agreed to run more than one product on the same link. Please contact your Geozo manager.

Duplicate ad in the system

This means that we have detected a duplicate ad (an exact copy or a similar one previously added to the system by you or another advertiser)

Change part or all headline and image.

Technical problems

This means that during moderation we found problems of technical nature, such as:

· Link that does not work/works improperly

· Unintentional use of a malicious link detected by anti-virus programme

Replace the link in the ad. In case of a viral link, the problem may be with the affiliate programme. Contact them for solution.


Image

Image: unacceptable quality

This means that your ad uses low quality images.

Examples:

· Not conforming to the recommended technical requirements

· Sloppy graphics, overloaded with visual information, collages

· Watermarked

· Fake navigation elements

· Deformed (stretched, incorrectly cropped) and low quality (blurred, not clear)

· Large empty area/transparent backgrounds and white backgrounds without 1 px thin grey border, as well as shallow focus

Image: misleading to attract attention

This means that your ad uses images that are misleading and deliberately attract attention.

Examples:

· Images that impersonate a system or site warning

· Images of people who are not relevant to the content and are not mentioned in the ad headline

· Images that give false meaning to the content (distortion or exaggeration of facts and events)

Image: copyright infringement

This means that your ad uses copyrighted images.

Image: duplication

This means that we have detected a duplicate image used in the ad (exact copy or similar one that you or another advertiser has previously added to the system).


Headline

Headline: errors

This means that your ad uses a headline that contains grammatical, spelling or typographical errors or is stylistically inconsistent.

Headline: Unacceptable practice in design

This means that your ad uses a headline that we have found to be an unacceptable practice in the ad design.

Examples:

· Using CAPS LOCK, unless it is a common abbreviation.

· Using multiple punctuation marks

· Excessive or entirely missing capital letters. Always capitalise the first letter of the headline

· Using emoji of any kind

· Incorrect macro formats

Headline: duplication

This means we have detected a repeated headline in the ad (exact copy or similar one previously added to the system by you or another advertiser):

Change part or all headline (uniqueness of your headline should be more than 30% of the similar headline previously added to the system).

Landing page: not in line with company policies

This means that the website does not fully or partially comply with our landing page policy.
